WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: OFF-SITE GUESTS

  • To access the venue, take Hwy 40 and turn onto Kinnikinnick Lane (260 Kinnikinnick Ln). Approximately a half-mile down Kinnikinnick, a parking team will be present to direct you

  • Check-in to Movement Conference will begin on July 30th at 6pm. Please note that the first check-in will take more time as our team verifies that all guests in your crew have their balance paid and waiver submitted. From there on, at each session, just let the Movement Crew at check-in know your group name.

  • Coming soon!

    • All Registered Guests must keep their wristbands on for the duration of Movement Conference. If your group loses one, please go to the Check-In team.

    • Please keep in mind that you and your leaders are responsible for the minors in your group at all times.

    • No alcohol, drugs, or tobacco is permitted at the campground or arena

  • We have a safety team patrolling throughout the conference. There is a medical tent on site for any major or minor needs. This tent is a good meet-up spot should anyone get lost from your group at any time.

  • We will have a resource post on site. This is a place to ask questions, get help, or find resources for sensitive topics that may arise with your students. If students come to the resource post with any sensitive topics, we will encourage them to bring their leader into the conversation.

  • We have some incredible local food trucks available all throughout the conference. The Outfitter tent will be open before and after each session for you to purchase apparel.

  • We are so incredibly excited to provide the opportunity for students to make the decision to be baptized at Movement Conference! We will be doing this on Saturday, August 1st, during the evening session. Any student from your group who would like to be baptized must fill out this form. It can be filled out at any time!

  • Hydration Stations, Porta Potties, and Handwashing:

A hydration station with running water is available at the campground and in the arena.

Porta-potties and handwashing stations are also present for your use.

    Shower Truck:

There is a shower truck available by reservable time slots. Each slot is for 15 minutes with a 5-minute transition time; please don’t go over!

There are two sides to the shower truck, male and female.  Each side has four shower stalls with curtains and has its own changing area.  For the respect of everyone using the open changing areas, we ask that you dry off and do most of your changing in the shower stall until you are covered appropriately.  We also recommend wearing shower shoes or flip-flops.  Leaders and parents, please ensure your students treat the shower and equipment respectfully!

  • General:

    • All Registered Guests must keep their wristbands on for the duration of Movement Conference. If your group loses one, please go to the Check-In team.

    Campground:

    • Quiet hours are before 9am and after 11pm. We want to respect our neighbors!

    • Don’t keep any food or trash in your tent (lest we lure in the bears!)

  • Cell service at the campground will be available, but spotty. The blessing and the burden of being in the mountains is that there is limited bandwidth! Therefore, wifi will be limited to group leaders only. For Wifi details, connect with the campsite hosts!

  • Venue:

We will have overnight medical and safety available in the campground.  During the day, you can seek medical assistance at the First Aid Tent near the venue entrance.  Overnight medical’s RV will be on the campgrounds.

  • We will have a resource post on site. This is a place to ask questions, get help, or find resources for sensitive topics that may arise with your students. If students come to the resource post with any sensitive topics, we will encourage them to bring their leader into the conversation.

RESOURCES

Throughout the weekend, we understand sensitive topics may arise with your students. If students come to the resource post or anyone on the Movement Team with any sensitive topics, we will encourage them to bring their leader into the conversation. Here are some resources to help you navigate some of these potentially tricky conversations.
